Quake '06: Reducing Earthquake Risk

Quake '06 is a 4-year campaign to reduce earthquake risks in Northern California. The campaign is a partnership between the community of earthquake professionals in EERI's Northern California chapter and other Northern California organizations, agencies, and cities. Starting on April 18, 2002 (96th anniversary of the 1906 earthquake), events culminate on the 100th anniversary in April 2006.
April 18-22, 2006--Major presentations of campaign progress and achievements will be presented at the 8th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering, entitled "100th Anniversary Earthquake Conference: Commemorating the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake".
