California on Shaky Ground: A Short Course

Featuring a sneak preview of "Aftershock!" - a new exhibition opening at the Oakland Museum of California, Saturday's events include a series of lectures and discussion times, appropriate for a general public audience. Speakers include Doris Sloan, Mary Lou Zoback, Eric Geist, Mark Zoback, and Anne Egger.
Sunday's offerings include a special workshop for teachers, with a series of practical, standards-based, hands-on activities appropriate for grades six and higher.
