Presenting nearly 14,000 images and 7,000 pages of text, the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and Fire Digital Collection website gives you access to vivid and detailed material documenting the earthquake and fire in San Francisco via a striking online exhibit, searchable collections, interactive map showing the destruction the 1906 earthquake and fire caused in San Francisco, and the presentation of a 360-degree panoramic view of the ruined city. The collection also presents material on other affected Northern California locations. The project includes material contributed by the Bancroft Library, the California Historical Society, the California State Library, Stanford University, the Huntington Library, and the Society of California Pioneers.
