This is a relatively compact, free-standing mobile, travel-capable exhibit of high-quality document facsimiles featuring accounts and photographs by Federal officials and others, from National Archives holdings about the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and Fire. An educational handout accompanies the exhibit.

Relevance

The exhibit is available as a community service, on request as scheduling permits for limited time displays to interested Alliance organizations, schools, and other institutions in the San Francisco Bay Area that might like to host a 1906 exhibit for commemorative, educational and similar purposes. National Archives Pacific Region-San Francisco will provide transportation and set-up.
