Faultline: Seismic Science at the Epicenter
Faultline: Seismic Science at the Epicenter is an extensive web resource about earthquake science and engineering. It covers the latest in earthquake prediction, warning systems, and real time quake data around the world. The site also includes an introduction to the basic science behind the study of quakes: plate tectonics, faults, waves, and measuring earth movements. There are also reminiscences of both the 1906 and 1989 earthquakes, and an extensive “to-do” section with activities, downloadable media, and links.
