An afternoon filled with "living history" performances highlighting personal stories from the 1906 earthquake and fire. Featuring Charlie Chin, Chinese American performer and storyteller who becomes quake survivor Hugh Liang in “Chinatown is Burning,” and others.
In collaboration with the California Council for the Humanities, the Japanese Historical Society, the African American Museum and Library at Oakland, and the Chinese Historical Society of America.
