Tule Ponds at Tyson Lagoon Open House
Math Science Nucleus, Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservtion District
This once-a-year open house lets the community tour the Tule Pond at Tyson Lagood and learn about how faults create sag ponds that can be used as wetland for urban wildlife and storm treatment areas. Visitors are welcome to walk along the Fault Trail and visit the Tule House. An earthquake peel from previous trenching is on display in the educational center.
