Earthquake book reading and signing

Pardee Home Museum

Authors of two books on the 1906 earthquake will read selections from their books in the front parlors of the Pardee Home and sell and sign the books in the dining room afterwards.

The two authors are Richard Schwartz, who has written "Earthquake Exodus, 1906: Berkeley Responds to the San Francisco Refugees," and Dorothy Fowler from the California Genealogical Society, which has published her "A Most Dreadful Earthquake" based on previously unpublished letters between a young earthquake survivor and her sweetheart back east.

Maximum capacity of front parlor is 40-50 people.
