Notre Dame - SF, 100th Anniversary of the 1906 Earthquake
Notre Dame, SF
1906 Earthquake Remembrance: A Prayer in Memory and in Gratitude, followed by a reception and time to visit. Please join us in remembering the 1906 earthquake and in thanking God for strong foundations and courageous rebuilders. As Sr. Mary Bernardine, the California Provincial visiting the Namur Motherhouse in 1906, responded upon receiving a cable from the Sisters in San Francisco just after the quake: "The Sisters, the children, all safe. God is good. Buildings can be rebuilt."
